Retreats are a wonderful way to take time away from the mundane, recharge, and replenish. They are nurturing and supportive pit stops on the journey of life. In facilitating retreats, I aim to create an experience that is inspiring and enriching to the mind, body, and soul. The intention is to facilitate a loving environment where participants are encouraged to examine and explore with each other their experiences of life within the framework of a theme ascribed to the retreat. The retreat experience is placed within the context of a comprehensive approach to yoga that includes mindful movement, breath manipulation, meditation, and chanting, as well as a group discussion designed as an interactive learning experience. With few exceptions, a whole food vegetarian diet is generally offered as part of the retreat.
- Daylongs usually run from morning to ~5:30pm
- Extended retreats may go up to 5 days.
